Accreditations

Central Carolina Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.   • The Dental Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
  • The Dental Hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
  • The Health Information Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
  • The Medical Assisting Diploma program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
  • The Medical Sonography Program is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS).
  • The Nursing Education program is approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • The Radio Stations (WDCC 90.5FM and WUAW 88.3FM) have a broadcast station license from the Federal Communications Commission.
  • The Veterinary Medical Technology program is accredited by the Committee on Veterinary Technician Educational Activities (CVTEA) of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
